Structural Designer
Dimensional Thinking
Requirements
- 2+ years of structural drafting and design experience
- 1+ year of hands-on Revit experience for structural modeling and drawing development
- Ability to develop structural models and drawings from verbal direction, markups, or rough sketches
- Ability to work independently within assigned scope and verify accuracy of completed work
- Completed coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of Revit experience
- Steel and concrete structural design experience
- Industrial facility experience, preferably semiconductor-related
- Navisworks and Bluebeam experience
- Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent
Core Responsibilities - Develop 3D structural models from verbal direction or rough sketches
- Produce complete drawings or portions of drawing sets
- Apply department and client design standards
- Take ownership of assigned structural design scope
- Review own work for completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate with related disciplines
- Participate in QA/QC, BIM, and design coordination processes
- Execute routine design tasks independently after initial direction
- Support team execution and coordination
- Develop design automation skills and adopt emerging technologies
