Role: SRE DevOps Engineer Location: Austin TX Duration: 6 months Required Skills: DevopsJob Description:Must Have Skills:1. Kubernetes, Kustomize, Flux, Crossplane, CRDs2. AWS Components – EKS, ELB, S3, EBS, EFS, RDS, CloudWatch3. Python, Github, Linux, Unix4. Monitoring Tools – Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk5. Infrastructure Design – TLS, SSL6. Experience with Apache Solr7. Experience with Cassandra Administration8. Experience with Ansible, Terraform9. Experience with JavaKey Qualifications:• Good experience on DevOps – using AWS (EKS, ELB, S3, EC2, EBS, EFS, RDS and CloudWatch), Kubernetes, Kustomize, Flux, Crossplane, CRDs, Python, Github, Kafka, Linux, Trino• Strong experience with Python scripting• Strong experience with Unix and Linux• Good experience with Core Kubernetes fundamentals – on deployments, troubleshooting• Proficient in Python coding; also packaging Python code and deploying to EKS• Monitoring – Good overall experience and on understanding logs and troubleshooting.• Strong experience with performance and troubleshooting aspects – o High traffic Application performance monitoring and troubleshooting ensuring high availability o Tracking key metrics o Load balancing• Good understanding of SSL/TLS Handshake• Automation - Good experience with Ansible and Terraform• Cassandra Administration – o Designing and configuring clusters, analyzing data access patterns, identifying query performance issues, troubleshooting issues. o Identify potential storage/capacity issues ensuring cluster handle increasing workloads. o Diagnosing and resolving issues, performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring cluster is running optimally. o Understand best practices and manage storage capacity to optimize database performance• Apache Solr o Experience with Solr design, index design, data ingestion aspects, query optimization o Configuration and optimization best practices o Experience with managing Solr ecosystem with Kubernetes (using Kubebuilder) o Troubleshooting and problem resolution• Experience with EKS cluster Upgrade process• Good experience using GitHubFor more information and other jobs available please contact our recruitment team at View email address on click.appcast.io.
