ARRT - MRI Technologist
MLR is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our client's dedicated MRI team in Southwest Connecticut, near the New York border. This esteemed community healthcare facility values teamwork and is excited to welcome a new member to their cohesive and supportive team.
Shifts / Schedules Available:
- Fri, Sat, Sun: 9a - 10p | Days 3x12s
- Sat, Sun, Mon: 9a - 10p | Days 3x12s
- Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun: 1:30p - 10p | Evenings 4x10s
- 45-minute breaks
- Call
- Rotating Holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Review and follow physician orders for imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
- Ensure MRI equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Qualifications:
- ARRT(R)(MR) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
- Valid Connecticut state licensure as an MRI Technologist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Experience with GE Scanners preferred (not required).
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
