Neurodiagnostic Assistant PRN

Job Summary and Qualifications The Neurodiagnostic Assistant/Apprentice is a support position in the neurodiagnostic department, designed to be flexible to meet the specific needs of the department and provide supervised hands‑on learning while enrolled in the EEG STEP program. The Neurodiagnostic Assistant assists the technologist by facilitating the workflow of the department. The position includes a growth ladder from basic to advanced assistant skills; however, the Neurodiagnostic Assistant does not perform neurodiagnostic procedures unsupervised. This is a temporary role and requires the Assistant to become a Neurodiagnostic Technologist within 6 months of completion of the EEG Step Program Curriculum. The Assistant trains under direct technical supervision and, once training is complete and all required competencies are achieved, works under indirect technical supervision.
