Physical Therapist - School Setting in Marysville, WA

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students’ physical development as an in-person Physical Therapist, working with school-aged children in a collaborative educational environment. This contract position is located near Marysville, WA, and offers a part-time schedule of approximately two days per week (.4 FTE), with flexibility in selecting which weekdays you work. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Previous experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families Ability to perform a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) Demonstrated capacity to work independently and manage a flexible caseload Commitment to maintaining accurate records and timely documentation Key Responsibilities: Assess students’ motor needs and develop appropriate therapy plans to support educational access and participation Deliver one-on-one and group physical therapy sessions in a school setting Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure student goals are met Provide consultative support and training to school staff for adapting environments and activities Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute therapeutic expertise to discussions around student needs Imagine the positive impact you’ll make by helping students build mobility, strength, and confidence at school—while benefiting from a flexible 2-day workweek that fits your schedule.
