As an insurance professional you will work with a dynamic team of sales agents that share your desire to win. Position pays a base salary plus commission structure that works well for those who are disciplined and follow our proven sales process.Job ResponsibilitiesMeet new business production goals and objectives as established.Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.Process customer policy change requests.Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.Take premium payments from customers.Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.Return all phone messages promptly.Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.Maintain knowledge of new products.Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.Provide exceptional customer service.Be outstanding at relationship building.Cold call, direct email, and perform other lead generation activitiesResponds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframeJob RequirementsA property & casualty license is preferred.Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.Create relationships from a cold start.Be a fantastic presenter.Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.Confident, self-starter who works well independently.Must have ability to multi-task.Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.Must be highly self-motivated.A terrific presenter and communicator, and a barracuda closer.Professional phone etiquette.Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills.Great Customer Service Skills.Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframeStrong work ethic and leadership skillsPrevious work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketingKnowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
