Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location unspecified. The Clinical Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex and critical health conditions. This role entails coordinating patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience.
• Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Participates in patient education, discharge planning, and performance improvement activities. Utilizes healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in care delivery. Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems, including population-appropriate physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care. Collaborates with multidisciplinary resources and participates in promoting cost-effective care. Recognizes data from complex situations to determine priorities for care and assesses discharge needs of individual patients and families.
