The Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light trucks and a mixed vehicle fleet. Working as part of a small team, this role involves using both manufacturer-specific and generic diagnostic tools and advanced computerized systems to ensure high-quality vehicle performance with minimal customer interaction. Occasional workshops offer opportunities for skill development and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using advanced computerized and manual techniques
• Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on light trucks and mixed fleet vehicles
• Replace parts and check fluids to maintain vehicle functionality
• Utilize various diagnostic tools including manufacturer-specific and generic scanners
• Keep accurate records of completed work and test vehicles post-repair
• Participate in test drives to verify repair quality
• Maintain minimal interaction with customers while delivering excellent service

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive repair
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and HVAC repair
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities
• Strong time management and teamwork skills
