Work Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts; 19:00 - 07:30, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call shifts
• Holiday coverage based on unit needs (July 4th required)
• No requests for time off during the World Cup (June 11 - July 19); minimal RTO during this window

Qualifications:

• Active KS RN or Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Minimum 2 years' recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Experience with CRRT, Bipap, lab draws, chest tubes, PICC lines
• Must manage consults, codes, and be self-sufficient (no vascular access team)
• Must be confident floating to ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED
• New graduates are not accepted

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients
• Independently manage consults, lab draws, and codes
• Float to various inpatient units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain professional documentation using Epic EMR
