Location: Silverdale, Washington (Onsite) Work Type: Contract (Locum) Positions: 1 Duration: 69 Months Hours: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Shift Details

Schedule: Monday Friday + Call Call: 12 weekdays + weekends Night Call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM Start Date: ASAP (Post credentialing)

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Surgical Care

Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries (CABG, valve repair/replacement) Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care Manage ICU and acute care patients

Procedures & Skills

Perform and assist with open cardiothoracic procedures Support coronary artery bypass (on-pump) Assist with valvular repair and replacement

Patient Management

Manage 510 hospital patients per day Handle ICU patient care and admissions Monitor and treat acute cardiac conditions

Team Collaboration

Work with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams Collaborate with RN navigators and support staff Coordinate patient care across departments

Documentation & Systems

Maintain accurate patient records Utilize EPIC EMR system Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Must-Have Qualifications

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C Required) Active Washington State License (Required) Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery (OR + ICU) Strong experience with adult cardiac patients Clean malpractice and background (Highly Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Local candidates (No flights preferred) Experience in high-volume surgical settings Strong ICU and acute care management experience
