Pediatric Cardiac Radiology Physician - Remote Teleradiology NORTON CHILDREN'S RADIOLOGY , affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is recruiting pediatric radiologists across multiple subspecialties. The practice includes fellowship‑trained pediatric radiologists, a registered radiologist assistant, specialized nurses and radiology technicians. TWO EMPLOYMENT TRACKS ARE NOW AVAILABLE: Physicians can choose a combined clinical and academic track with promotion opportunities from assistant level to full professor at the UofL School of Medicine, or an all‑clinical track that includes a gratis faculty appointment with the UofL School of Medicine. The combined track offers opportunities in quality improvement, clinical research, translational research, medical education, child advocacy or community engagement. Norton Children's Research Institute provides broad support for all stages of research, including study design and statistical analysis. Two 1.5 T MRIs and one 3‑tesla MRI machine Single‑photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanner Two 256‑slice CT scanners Biplane interventional suite Ferriscan for liver or cardiac iron quantification Fluoroscopy equipment Advanced cardiac imaging (CT and MRI) for diagnosing and evaluating children and adults with congenital heart disease Ultrasound elastography for chronic liver conditions Digital X‑ray technology with reduced radiation dose PEDIATRIC CARDIAC IMAGING PHYSICIAN Base compensation guarantee of $450,000 plus a productivity bonus. Sign‑on bonus of $45,000, relocation bonus $15,000-$25,000. Eligible fellows may receive up to $100,000 over five years; experienced physicians $60,000 over three years. Full‑time positions include 45 days of paid time off and seven paid legal holidays. Provide a wide array of cardiac services, including heart transplants. Work with Norton Children's Heart Institute Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program, which follows patients into adulthood. Dedicated multidisciplinary board for cardiac patients. Collaborate with a team of more than 50 specialists (pediatric cardiologists, electrophysiologists, heart surgeons, intensive‑care physicians). Use of software and 3D modeling for surgical planning in partnership with the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering. NORTON CHILDREN'S HEART INSTITUTE Affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, the institute is the only comprehensive pediatric cardiac surgery, heart‑failure and transplant program serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The full‑service program includes cardiovascular surgeons, transplant surgeons, heart‑failure cardiologists, pediatric and adult congenital heart disease specialists, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensive‑care physicians, pharmacists, social workers, dietitians, child‑life specialists, nurses, a family support team and a rehabilitation specialist. Services extend from outpatient clinic visits to interventional catheterization, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker implantation, heart‑failure treatment, transplantation and advanced imaging. The 17‑bed Jennifer Lawrence Cardiac Intensive Care Unit features private rooms for children recovering from heart procedures, including transplant and open‑heart surgery. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct pediatric cardiac imaging studies (CT, MRI, X‑ray, ultrasound). Interpret findings and report results to clinical teams. Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac boards and surgical planning. Contribute to quality improvement, research and educational activities. Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality of imaging protocols. QUALIFICATIONS Doctoral degree (MD or DO). Board‑certified in diagnostic radiology. Fellowship training in pediatric radiology or pediatric cardiac imaging preferred. Experience with cardiac imaging modalities (CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy).
