Material Handler 3rd shift (10pm to 6am)

Shift: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $21.52 an hour $1.50 shift differential

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor you will support warehouse and distribution operations at the Darien Wisconsin facility by ensuring materials packaging supplies and finished goods are moved safely and efficiently throughout the plant. You will play an important role in supporting production and shipping needs while contributing to a safe organized and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
• Deliver and return packaging supplies while maintaining accurate inventory documentation.
• Set up and operate case printers and verify printed information is accurate.
• Move packaging materials and fiber stock between storage areas and production departments.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Train and support employees on case printer operations as needed.
• Follow all food safety quality and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Read write speak and understand English.
• Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division and percentages.
• Forklift operating experience or willingness to become forklift certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to workplace safety food safety and quality standards.
• Work effectively in a physically active environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.
