Job Title: Light Industrial - Operations Technician
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Roswell, GA (onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Hours: Monday -Thursday 7:00 am 5:30pm EST

Job Description:
Daily responsibilities include:

• Operate and maintain pilot-scale manufacturing equipment
• Heat up of equipment and raw material preparation
• Discussion of trial plan with researcher
• Running trials, adjusting process settings and troubleshooting issues as needed
• Packaging of trial materials produced
• Cool down of equipment and clean-up of work area
• Comply with facility and asset safety rules
• Participate in facility and asset safety initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-8 years of relevant machine operation experience (or equivalent)
• Ability to trouble-shoot problems as they arise
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a high-performance team
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes
• Basic knowledge of computers, Windows and Microsoft Office
• Mechanical aptitude (knowledge of equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, etc.)
• Good math skills including the ability to perform simple calculations when provided the necessary inputs
• Good communication, listening, and leadership skills

Manager is looking for someone with 3-8 years of experience as a machine operator.
