Project Manager – Lead Nationwide Commercial Retail Construction Projects

Job Overview

• Company: Weiss Services LLC.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000 to $105,000+ per year plus performance bonuses.
• Location: Based in Royse City, TX with active work throughout the US about 25% travel
• ***All travel expenses paid ***
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

The Opportunity You will serve as a high-impact leader managing commercial retail builds across the country for premier brands. How You Will Make an Impact

• Direct all phases of commercial retail construction projects to ensure delivery remains on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee all project estimating and construction schedule creation.
• Maintaining and growing new and existing client business.
• Accountable for full project financial performance, including management of subcontractor costs, material procurement, on-site labor, change orders, and overall project profitability. 
• Negotiate and execute all sub-trade contracts and purchase orders.
• Work directly with owners and architects to submit all RFI and Submittals when neccesary.
• Communicate project milestones and technical requirements clearly to owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Evaluate site progress and safety protocols regularly to mitigate risks and prevent project delays.
• Actively lead weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings.
• Participate in onsite project kickoff meetings with Owners and Landlords.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years managing commercial retail construction projects from inception to completion.
• Absolute willingness to travel nationwide to various project assignments as required by the business.
• Strong ability to interpret detailed project drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Proficiency in managing project budgets, timelines, and subcontractor relations with minimal oversight.
• Able to work on multiple projects with a wide range of different scopes concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of retail-specific installations and specialized commercial finishes.
• Completion of OSHA safety training or relevant manufacturer certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior project coordinators or field staff.
• Knowledge of Procore is a plus
