Our comprehensive product suite includes software, engineering services, connector plates, equipment and premier cold-formed steel truss system.Job Description: The Product Manager leads the strategy and drives the commercial performance of a portfolio of software and equipment products, while partnering with Product Owners to ensure effective execution. This role owns product P&L, drives growth, and aligns product direction with business goals and market opportunities.Leveraging customer and market insights, the Product Manager defines value-driven solutions, supports go-to-market execution, and partners cross-functionally to deliver high-impact results.Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence, lead, and execute across teams in an Agile environment.Core Responsibilities: Product Strategy & VisionDefine and own the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap across product lines (e.g., IntelliVIEW, eShop, Equipment Software)Lead the 3P-STP-5P marketing strategy (Customer, Competitor, Company; Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning; Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People) for each product categoryP&L Ownership & Business PerformanceOwn product-level P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, and market penetrationMonitor product performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize value and ROIMarket & Customer Insight LeadershipLead deep market analysis including CM/LBM trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies (e.g., automation, CAD/CAM, cloud solutions)Go-to-Market (GTM) & Commercial EnablementDevelop and support go-to-market strategies for new products and major releasesEnable sales teams through training on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and objection handlingSales & Customer EngagementParticipate in key customer meetings, sales cycles, and industry events to support growth and gather insightsBuild and maintain relationships with strategic accounts and industry influencersPortfolio & Stakeholder LeadershipPropose and prioritize product investments based on ROI, customer impact, and strategic alignmentCommunicate product vision, strategy, and performance to executive leadership and stakeholdersCross-Functional AlignmentEnsure alignment across Product Owners, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and OperationsTranslate business strategy into clear direction for Product Owners and delivery teamsKey Competencies:Strategic & Commercial LeadershipCustomer & Market InsightCross-Functional Influence & Execution AlignmentQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a comparable discipline; an MBA is a plus6+ years’ experience working as a Product Owner with a development teamExperience in product management with ownership of product strategy and product roadmapsFamiliarity with Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) or similar stage-gate frameworksCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferredSoftware Product strategy and management experience with demonstrated value deliveryExperience with complex customer environments and/or relevant industry experienceExperience leading software product development in an Agile environment leveraging frameworks such as Scrum and SAFeStrong team/project management, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environmentUp to 25% travelCompensation Information:$90,000 - $140,000 (high level of experience)This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
