Area of Responsibility Create business requirement documents covering functional and non‑functional requirements, basis information gathered as part of workshops and interviews with client stakeholders Craft high‑ and low‑level software designs, validate through prototypes, and incorporate feedback to optimize functionality Develop critical and complex software applications and engage with the development team to establish coding standards and methodologies in sync with design and architectural specifications Create and guide the execution of comprehensive testing strategies, in conformance with functional and non‑functional requirements Guide the technical implementation of system infrastructure, and introduction of new software applications, to ensure their efficient deployment and adherence to project schedules. Ensure consistent system rollouts by orchestrating transitions and minimizing operational disruptions Analyse incident trends to identify root causes, propose sustainable solutions to avert future incidents and establish monitoring protocols Provide specialized insights and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams, securing the successful execution of projects Establish and uphold comprehensive knowledge bases to guarantee that vital information is systematically recorded and readily available Contribute to the selection of technological tools by collaborating with architects and provide insights on prospective influence of new technologies Contribute to the development of technical implementation roadmaps, based on understanding of client business needs Contribute to proposals and RFPs by delivering insights related to development of software applications, for successfully delivering the proposed solutions Your contribution to the team A focus on innovation and adaptability for integrating new technologies Proactive problem‑solving to streamline complex requirements. Required Skill and Experience Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, or enterprise application development roles At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with Java and JEE technologies for enterprise application development At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Management or Team Lead role overseeing software engineering teams Must have hands‑on knowledge of full‑stack Java development including Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases Strong experience managing end‑to‑end software delivery lifecycles including design, development, testing, and deployment Experience in Backstage Preferred Skill and Experience At least 7 years of experience in enterprise Java application development using Spring Boot, Microservices, JEE, RESTful/SOAP Web Services, and full‑stack technologies including ReactJS/AngularJS and PostgreSQL/Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server At least 5 years of experience leading and managing cross‑functional software engineering teams of 10+ members in an Agile/Scrum environment, including technical roadmap planning, solution architecture, and stakeholder management At least 3 years of experience managing cloud‑based application development on AWS, Azure, or GCP and overseeing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes At least 2 years of experience with AI/ML integration, application performance management, code quality tools such as SonarQube, and security best practices including OWASP Domain experience in Finance and Mortgage industries is strongly preferred, including familiarity with loan origination systems, mortgage servicing platforms, underwriting workflows Experience with vendor management, resource planning and project tracking tools such as Jira or Rally preferred Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across globally distributed teams Familiarity with architectural frameworks, compliance and governance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001), and design best practices for scalable enterprise systems Should possess strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Additional Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
