Overview Registered Nurse – Hospice Grand Junction, Colorado, United States Start date: July 13, 2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $1,795-$1,828 per week Shift: 3x12‑hour nights (7:00pm–7:00am), rotating Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,795-$1,828 per week Contract length: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12‑hour nights, 7:00pm–7:00am, rotating Start date: July 13, 2026 Location/Setting: Grand Junction, CO area; hospice service across multiple care settings (home, facilities, hospitals, hospice center) Guaranteed hours: 0 Responsibilities Provide after‑hours hospice nursing care across diverse settings, including homes, assisted living, skilled facilities, hospitals, and a hospice care center Quickly assess patient and family needs; determine symptom management and urgent visit interventions Administer medications, monitor vitals, manage comfort measures, and respond to acute changes in patient condition Develop and modify care plans in collaboration with on‑call teams; document findings clearly and promptly Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure aligned, compassionate care Offer end‑of‑life support and symptom relief during after‑hours encounters; maintain safety and infection control standards Work from home between patient visits and travel to patient locations as required Requirements Current, active Registered Nurse license in Colorado Hospice or palliative care experience preferred; not required Ability to work 7:00pm–7:00am shifts with rotating nights Comfort delivering care across home, assisted living, skilled facilities, hospitals, and hospice settings; capable of coordinating care remotely between visits Willingness to travel within the Grand Junction/Mesa County area Benefits and Support Dedicated travel nurse recruiter and assignment support 24/7 access to assignment support throughout the contract Onboarding and credentialing assistance to expedite start Weekly pay issued on a per‑week basis 13‑week contract with potential extension opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
