Job Title: Director of Ticketing & Box Office Operations - Jersey Shore Wave Women's Tackle Football

Location: New Jersey (Remote with in-person opportunities)

Position Type: Volunteer (Unpaid)

Estimated Hours: 5-10 hours per week + 5-10 hours on game days

Season Runs: March – July (with year-round responsibilities)

The Jersey Shore Wave , New Jersey’s premier professional women’s tackle football team and a proud member of the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC), is seeking a Director of Ticketing & Box Office Operations to take full ownership of the franchise's ticketing architecture. You will be responsible for maximizing gate revenue, setting group sales strategies, and managing the entire box office footprint on game days.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the revenue generation and fan services side of professional sports. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving attendance while ensuring a seamless ticketing experience for fans on game day. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports, sales, customer service, and wants real-world experience running ticket operations for a sports franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor & Inventory Management: Manage the primary ticketing vendor relationship and oversee digital manifest/inventory strategy.
• Group Sales Strategy: Architect and execute outreach campaigns for large-scale group bookings (youth leagues, schools, corporate outings).
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage game-day box office volunteers.
• Game-Day Operations: Direct the box office and will-call customer service strategy on game days to ensure efficient stadium entry.
• Ticket Sales Execution: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive single-game, season ticket, and VIP package sales.
• Reporting: Track sales inventory and provide regular reports on revenue and attendance trends to team leadership.

• 5-10 hours of work per week and 5-10 hours on game days

• Interest in sports business, ticket sales, customer service, or event management
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mentality for addressing fan inquiries
• Motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently to drive sales
• Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable learning and operating digital ticketing software
• Professional writing skills for email outreach and fan communication
• Passion for women’s sports and a commitment to helping grow football opportunities
• Located in or able to travel to New Jersey as needed
