Position Details:
Patient Population: Obstetric and Gynecologic Patients
Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities: OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, inpatient care, care of unassigned patients, private call coverage, OB floor coverage, ER consults for GYN emergencies, surgical assistance at cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and emergency response in labor and delivery.
Required Procedures: OB Triage, Vaginal Deliveries, Cesarean Section Assists, Fetal Monitoring, GYN Emergency Management
EMR System:
Support Staff: In-house Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists, and 24/7 Anesthesiology Services
On-Call/Weekends: N/A
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (Board Eligible not accepted)
- Active Texas Medical License or Active IMLC
- Clinically active within the last year with at least 6 months of OB Hospitalist/OB-GYN clinical experience
- Prescreen Questionnaire, updated CV (MM/YYYY with all gaps explained), Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days), and required rate information
