Child Nutrition Manager, St. James Elementary School Starting Date: Aug 6, 2026 Employment Type: Permanent / full-time / 8.0 hours per day / 10 months / benefit eligible Reports To: Child Nutrition Director Salary: Grade CN 56N ($17.67 - $22.50 per hour) plus local supplement, if applicable Position Available: August 6, 2026 Qualifications / Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and TB test before starting employment ServSafe Certification required within six months of hire date Compliance with all applicable food safety and sanitation rules and regulations at all times, as detailed in HACCP Ability to assign and direct the work of a diverse staff Computer skills and knowledge of Word and Excel Ability to provide customer service to staff, students, and community Effective oral and written communication skills Valid driver’s license required Must be able to perform very heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects Ability to tolerate bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pulling, pushing, and some repetitive motion Ability to stand for an extended period of time Ability to tolerate exposure to extremes of temperatures Duties Serve students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness Implement HACCP plan Follow planned menus with occasional substitutions as allowed Observe food preparation and line service to assure quality and proper presentation of food Display food to reflect school and seasonal activities Order food and supplies as needed Oversee implementation of daily/weekly work plans Maintain organized and accurate records and reports Provide on-the-job training in equipment use and care, food production and presentation, sanitation, storage, and recordkeeping Evaluate performance of each employee Maintain productive working relationships Recommend hiring and discipline of employees Communicate information as provided by administration Calculate recipe quantities and plan timely food preparation Comprehend directions for use and maintenance of equipment Ensure proper portion control Supervise staff in inventory control Perform duties at special meal functions as needed Provide training appropriate to the development of potential managers Perform other duties as assigned by the CN Director Lincoln County Schools is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, handicap, national origin, race, religion or sex. #J-18808-Ljbffr Young World Physical Education
