Shifts: 12 hour shifts 7a - 7p; 7p - 7a; Weekend requirement: Every-other-weekend, Sat/Sun for both Days/Nights


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Stepdown for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, WV. This role is ideal for stepdown nurses with experience in cardiac care and the ability to manage higher acuity patients than most Telemetry units. The work environment is a dynamic and supportive unit with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiac and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care for cardiac patients and those undergoing post-operative lung surgeries
• Manage respiratory failure cases including chest tubes and pacemakers
• Titrate drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and other cardiac medications
• Interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
• Collaborate with CNAs for team nursing and ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Current unexpired Driver's License
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• RN License to Submit
• Experience with titration of cardiac drips and telemetry interpretation
