- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K–12.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments using appropriate evaluation tools, including standardized assessments, clinical observations, and medical and educational records, to determine students’ speech and language needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the ESE Coordinator (ESEC), including coordinating IEP meetings, communicating with parents and the school district, and managing an assigned caseload.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, support staff, families, and the ESEC to support students’ academic, communication, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical and administrative records in accordance with Florida Department of Education and Department of Health requirements, school policies, and professional standards. Documentation may include screenings, evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, treatment records, and other student data.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy services and intervention plans as appropriate.
- Provide emotional and behavioral support to students as needed and in collaboration with the appropriate school personnel.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans and multidisciplinary decision-making.
- Maintain a professional development plan and participate in ongoing professional learning activities to remain current with best practices in speech-language pathology and education.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with K–12 students with diverse learning and communication needs.
- Proficiency with technology, student information systems/databases, and Google Workspace applications, including Gmail and Google Drive.
- Ability to successfully complete required fingerprinting and background-check requirements within specified timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous school-based Speech-Language Pathology experience.
- Experience working with students in a K–12 educational setting.
- Familiarity with classical education is preferred but not required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, collaborative, and highly organized professional who is committed to helping students develop strong communication skills and reach their academic and personal potential. The successful candidate will work effectively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and support staff while contributing positively to the school community.
Strong candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for Naples Classical Academy’s mission to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum emphasizing virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
