Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity./ppWarehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers./pulliUnloading trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks./liliUsing Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products./liliStoring products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices./liliPicking products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks./liliCross-training in multiple departments: Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound/liliBreaking down cases of product and operate PIT equipment to stock or replenish warehouse/liliUtilizing voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart/liliEnsuring high quality through attention to detail and correctly identify products by item number/liliOrganizing and segregate similar items at point of receipt/liliBreaking down and palletizing large items to skid and wrap for shipment/liliPacking and correctly label small items in boxes or bags/liliDriving material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider/li/ulpQualifications/pulliHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred/lili1 - 2 years related experience preferred/liliPrevious material handling experience (MHE) preferred, but willing to learn to operate MHE/liliRadio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred/liliAbility to consistently lift up to 70 lbs and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more required/liliMust be ready, willing and able to work a 12-hour shift as needed with limited to no advance notice./liliWork at heights up to 25 - 30 feet consistently/liliAdherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to Cardinal Healths EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures./liliAbility to work in a fast - paced environment while meeting productivity and quality standards/li/ulpWhat is expected of you and others at this level/pulliApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks/liliReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area/liliMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications/liliWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution/liliWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods/liliAdheres to all quality guidelines/liliWorks under moderate degree of supervision/liliWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor/liliRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor/li/ulpCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply./ppCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
