Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: General Surgery, Plastics, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 14:30 Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed Experience: 1-2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS preferred Must-Have: Skillset to serve adult and geriatric populations with specialties in general surgery, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and colonoscopy. Description: We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The position involves working within a dynamic operating room environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to surgical patients. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common procedures include pain injections, eye surgeries, EGD, colonoscopy, and general surgeries. Nursing responsibilities will also encompass wound debridement, port insertion and removal, and various plastic surgeries. The ideal candidate must have experience and skills relevant to the specified specialties. Evening and late stay requirements may apply, typically Monday through Thursday. Prepare to float to PACU if needed, but this is not a requirement. A professional demeanor is essential for this role. Scrubs will be provided as part of the dress code policy.
