Position Overview Location: Ponca City, Oklahoma (Newkirk, OK 74647 also listed). Shift: 1st shift, Temp‑to‑Hire 6:00 am–3:00 pm Monday–Friday. Lunch: 1 hour from 11:00 am–12:00 pm. Starting wages: $15‑$16 per hour, depending on experience, with pay increases over time. Must provide own tools after hiring. The shop manufactures large freezer ducts for warehouse and commercial buildings. Job Title Permanent full‑time TIG Welder. Responsibilities Weld thin stainless steel material within acceptable tolerances according to company guidelines. Read blueprints, use a tape measure, and take direction with minimal supervision. Operate grinders, drills, and plasma tables. Maintain a clean work environment, follow safety guidelines, and produce a quality product in a timely manner.
