Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Start date: 07/27/2026. Duration: travel assignment for multiple weeks. Weekly pay: $1,953–$2,048 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12‑hour shifts). Shift: Nights (3x12s). Setting: acute care hospital emergency department with 38 ER beds and all‑comers coverage. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,953–$2,048 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: travel assignment for multiple weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12‑hour shifts Start date: 07/27/2026 Setting: ER within an acute care hospital Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high‑volume ER, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and rapid response to changing conditions. Perform 12‑lead EKG interpretation, risk assessment, and initial stabilizing interventions; initiate or adjust IV access and vasopressor support as needed. Support airway management, including airway devices and ventilator readiness; manage chest tube/central line care as applicable. Administer medications and blood products per protocol; participate in procedural sedation and sepsis/stroke/STEMI management as appropriate. Document care in the Epic charting system; communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members and patient families. Maintain patient safety and ensure compliant handoffs during transfers and unit‑to‑unit movements within ER coverage. Requirements Active RN license; MO licensure or eligibility; pending license accepted per posting. Minimum 2 years RN ER experience; experience in a busy, all‑comers ER setting. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS required; CPI and TNCC preferred. Proficiency with Epic EHR for documentation. Ability to work nights and handle a 1:4 patient ratio during shifts; non‑local candidates only (radius rule, 75 miles).
