Investment Management Account Specialist

This role will assist multiple Operations teams who support Investment Management, Banking and Loan products throughout the life of an account.

The functional work performed supports operational processes related to trust and investment account closings including various cash disbursements, asset transfers, calculating schedules of distribution while maintaining and prioritizing a large account load.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executes activities associated with distributing and closing investment management or trust accounts which could include:
• Calculate and reconcile complex schedules of distribution
• Obtain outstanding fees (legal, tax etc.) and reserves
• Execute initial cash/asset distributions and final payments prior to closing
• Interaction with clients, beneficiaries, legal representatives, or contra brokers as necessary
• Data entry and review of sensitive client information across multiple systems and processes
• Various project support tasks

Skills required:

• Strong attention to detail with ability to process critical data accurately and timely.
• Excellent client service skills using both written and oral communication
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office products.
• High organizational ability while being able to prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
