This role involves both supporting the existing production environment and contributing to the development of new features and migration efforts to the CCWIS-compliant system. Responsibilities include: Maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting of legacy Natural code. Data cleanup and de-duplication scripting (SQL/Natural). Data migration planning and validation. Support for DMT validation and testing activities. Participation in project meetings as a senior SME. Acting as a technical bridge between legacy MACWIS and the new CCWIS platform. Required Skills/Experience: 10+ years of experience in Natural, VB6, SQL programming. Strong experience in ASP.NET / .NET (C#). Proven expertise in legacy system support, migration, and integration. Prior experience with Child Welfare Information Systems (MACWIS/CCWIS/SACWIS). Strong understanding of child welfare processes (case management, intake, licensing, reporting). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills. Ability to act as SME and mentor junior developers. Preferred (Not Required): Experience in child welfare modernization projects. Knowledge of federal CCWIS compliance. Experience with ADABAS.
