This is an In-patient position.Position Highlights:Primary inpatient, Outpatient, and Facility Consult Oversight and CoverageServe as Medical Director for Behavioral Health Services at Piedmont MaconExpected schedule: 5 days (Mon- Fri), assist with weekend and night call as neededRequired to supervise mid-levels (APPs)Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont systemSupervision of medical students and psychiatry residentsEpic EMRQualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionBoard-certified or board-eligible in PsychiatryActive or eligible for medical licensure in GeorgiaExperience supervising APPs is preferredStrong clinical, administrative, and physician leadership skillsPrevious experience with ketamine and TMS preferredExperience treating both adults and adolescents preferredCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salaryComprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insuranceMalpractice insurance with tail coverage401(k) with employer matchCME allowance and PTOPiedmont Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit health system and a recognized leader in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
