Hazmat Branch ManagerWe are hiring a full-time Hazmat Branch Manager to lead environmental emergency response operations and branch personnel in the Omaha, NE metro area. The Branch Manager oversees hazardous materials incident response, industrial services, regulatory compliance, and workforce management. This is an on-call, field-active leadership role requiring availability 24/7/365. Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually.What We OfferSalary range of $100,000–$125,000 based on experience, paid on a salaried basisGroup medical, dental, and vision insurance available after 60 days of employmentCompany-paid basic life insurance ($25,000) and dependent life coverage for eligible employees401(k) plan with employer match: 100% on the first 3% contributed, 50% on the next 2%, after one year of serviceTwo weeks paid vacation accruing after 90 days, increasing to three weeks after five years; five days sick pay accruing after 90 daysKey Responsibilities - Hazmat Branch ManagerDirect hazardous materials emergency response operations including spill response, containment, and recovery; complete and submit all required regulatory agency reports following each incidentRecruit, hire, train, and manage branch personnel; ensure all employees maintain required HAZWOPER and safety training certificationsOversee and participate in confined space entry operations and industrial tank cleaning projects on a regular basisImplement and maintain operational processes to achieve regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and safety program objectivesParticipate in 24/7 on-call emergency response rotation and travel regularly to customer sites, incident locations, and company facilitiesQualifications - Hazmat Branch ManagerMinimum one (1) year of supervisory or management experience in a field operations environmentValid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass MVR, background, and pre-employment and ongoing drug/alcohol screeningsAbility to work 40+ hours per week and remain available on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days per yearMust be able to read, speak, and understand English; willingness and ability to travel as requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; experience in environmental services, hazardous waste, or emergency response strongly preferredPhysical Requirements - Hazmat Branch ManagerAbility to lift, carry, and move drums and materials; operate shovels and pressure washing equipment in field conditionsAbility to climb ladders and work safely at elevated heights in industrial environmentsAbility to wear and work in respiratory protection equipment; must be clean-shaven where respirator seal is requiredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in confined spaces on active job sitesThis role involves regular field deployment, travel to emergency response locations, and shift work as incident demands require
