Nurse Practitioner – Full Time VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) has an opening for a Full‑Time Nurse Practitioner at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington, Delaware. Location Howard R. Young Correctional Institution – Wilmington, DE Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the medical model to provide a variety of healthcare needs with ambulatory care as the primary focus. The NP/PA works with healthcare professionals and security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The NP/PA has no managerial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Provide ambulatory and basic medical services in a correctional setting, collaborate with medical staff and security personnel, and operate under physician supervision.
