- Lead age-appropriate multi-sport activities for young children
- Teach basic skills, movement patterns, and coordination exercises
- Create a fun, structured, and encouraging environment
- Ensure safety and active supervision at all times
- Set up and break down equipment for activities
- Use positive coaching techniques to build confidence and engagement
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and program leadership
- Encourage teamwork, listening skills, and participation
- Adapt activities to meet varying age and skill levels
- Support themed games, camps, and seasonal programming
- Passion for working with young children (typically ages 3-8)
- High energy, patience, and a positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead group activities in a fun and organized manner
- Previous coaching, childcare, camp, or teaching experience preferred but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Experience in youth sports, recreation, daycare, or early childhood education
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of multiple sports (basketball, soccer, etc.)
- Experience working with early childhood age groups
- Ability to actively participate in games, drills, and demonstrations
- Ability to stand, move, and engage continuously during sessions
- Ability to lift and carry lightweight sports equipment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
