About the Position

Job Title: RN - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience - BLS & ACLS Description: We are seeking a highly skilled RN for the Operating Room. The unit operates with 8 operating rooms and has a staff of 25. Typically, day shift roles include Charge RN, RNs, CST, and Anesthesia staff. Operational hours are 7 am to 5:30 pm. The unit supports multiple specialties, including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac procedures. Patient ratios in the OR are 1:1. Candidates must be able to function across various service lines. Experience with Meditech is preferred, especially in transplant and spine procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork with providers and staff. Patient care experience is a priority. Response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes, with call schedules varying across first, second, and third calls mixed with weekdays and weekends.
