Project Engineer II

Job Description

The Project Engineer II will be the technical leader of a cross-discipline engineering team and responsible for projects aimed at delivering mission-critical hardware to support our customers. The Project Engineer II will be focused on product development of customized solutions from our extensive portfolio of high-power radio frequency (RF) solid state power amplifiers, transmit/receive high-power RF switches and our analog & digital products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, review engineering designs, and ensure compliance with program specifications
• Collaborate with program management and multidisciplinary engineering teams to aid in the creation and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule
• Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid schedule delays and cost overruns
• Oversee the system integration of all subsystems including RF, DC, Digital, and Mechanical components
• Ensure all subsystems function together and meet performance criteria
• Communicate with program management on the status of technical progress through each critical milestone from program kickoff to program closeout
• Act as the technical point of contact for all stakeholders to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner and customer expectations are met and/or exceeded

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline or two (2) experience required in lieu of Masters Degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
