Job Summary:

Provide support throughout the residential and commercial closing process for transactions in Pennsylvania and other states (multi-state experience is a plus). The Closing Coordinator is responsible for preparing ALTA settlement statements, balancing with lenders, preparing packages for signing agents, and communicating with agents, buyers, and sellers throughout the title and closing process. This role is essential to ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely closings while delivering strong client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with both purchase and refinance transactions (residential and commercial preferred)

• Prepare ALTA settlement statements

• Balance files with lender prior to closing

• Prepare closing packages for signing agents

• Communicate with realtors, lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout the closing process

• Resolve issues and answer questions during active closings

• Order payoffs and follow up on taxes and utilities required for settlement

• Ensure transactions are properly managed through closing without issues

• Provide excellent communication and customer service throughout the process

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Closer in a Title Company (Required)

• Experience with residential and refinance transactions required

• Commercial and multi-state experience is a plus

Special Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of title and closing procedures

• Experience with SoftPro is a plus

• Not interested in training — must be fully experienced in role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of real estate closing processes

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to resolve issues quickly during the closing process

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Team player with a strong work ethic

Additional Desired Characteristics:

• References from realtors previously worked with is a plus

• Proven ability to successfully close transactions independently

• Strong reputation within the title/real estate industry

• Must be reliable, efficient, and committed to high-quality work
