About this position

The Digital Marketing Strategist serves as the bridge between execution and leadership within the strategy team. You’ll collaborate closely with Digital Strategy Managers, Project Managers and Specialists to develop, implement and optimize digital marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, a strategic mind, creativityand hands‑on execution to help clients achieve measurable business results such as lead generation and e-commerce revenue.

Strategists are client-facing partners who ensure that all tactics, from SEO and content to paid advertising and marketing automation, are aligned with client goals, brand voiceand overall business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Digital Strategy Managers to build, execute, and refine client strategies across SEO, paid advertising, content marketing, automationand social
• Translate high‑level strategies into actionable plans and guide Specialists on tactical execution
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform campaign strategies and client recommendations
• Serve as a day‑to‑day client contact for strategy‑related discussions
• Present performance insights and explain how proposed strategies connect to client goals
• Help clients understand the why behind strategic decisions
• Regularly review KPIs, campaign dataand ROI to ensure client strategies remain effective and on target
• Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio, HubSpot, etc.) to prepare performance reports and actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely execution of strategy deliverables
• Partner with the creative team to ensure content, visualsand messaging are aligned with brand voice and objectives
• Work closely with Specialists to ensure tactics are implemented accurately and on schedule
• Stay current with emerging digital marketing trends and platforms
• Recommend innovative approaches to enhance client results and agency capabilities
  

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies
• Collaborate with creative, developmentand execution teams to ensure alignment between strategy and deliverables
• Act as a client‑facing resource, helping translate client objectives into actionable marketing plans
• Monitor performance data, generate insights and make recommendations for continuous optimization
• Contribute to new business pitches and proposals when strategic insights are needed

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Solid understanding of core digital tactics: SEO, paid media, automation, content marketing, analyticsand social media
• Comfortable translating high‑level strategy into actionable plans and tasks
• Strong client communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpotand CMS platforms
• Analytical thinker with a creative problem‑solving approach
• Collaborative, adaptableand comfortable working cross‑functionally
• Proactive learner who stays ahead of industry trends
  

EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of hands‑on experience planning, launching and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic display and paid social platforms
• 5 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within an agency environment
