Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support by cultivating trusting, empathetic relationships with clients. Assist with essential daily living activities such as eating, walking, dressing, and grooming to foster clients' independence and holistic well-being. Collaborate effectively with care teams to observe, accurately document, and promptly communicate any changes in clients' health or condition. Engage clients in meaningful hobbies and activities customized to their unique interests and preferences. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Hold a valid driver's license, maintain current insurance, and have reliable transportation. Successfully complete all required paid training and orientation programs. Exhibit excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients, their families, and the broader care team. Demonstrate a compassionate, dependable work ethic with a commitment to delivering exceptional, non-medical companion care. Maintain the physical ability to assist with lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods. Successfully clear all mandatory background checks.
