Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: Jessup, MD
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial roofing projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

This role is responsible for coordinating administrative and field production efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and according to contract requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial roofing or construction project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of multiple commercial roofing projects running concurrently.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, production plans, and overall project timelines.
• Coordinate field production activities with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and General Contractors.
• Provide oversight of scheduling, cost control, contract administration, quality control, and project documentation.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, AIA documents, change orders, and other project-related agreements.
• Review project status and monitor schedules, costs, and overall progress.
• Review and verify applications for payment and assist with financial management of assigned projects.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, revenue, and job costs while identifying and correcting variances.
• Conduct jobsite visits to monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Track submittals, shop drawings, approvals, and other required project documentation.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, delays, and disputes.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding project schedules, progress, and expectations.
• Ensure projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing or general construction project management experience .
• Strong commercial roofing experience highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, contracts, and cost controls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
• Comfortable visiting active construction sites and working at heights when necessary.
