Registered Professional Land Surveyor

We are looking for a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join a growing surveying team in Houston. This role is a great fit for someone with strong commercial land development experience who enjoys being involved in both project management and the technical side of surveying. Responsibilities Manage surveying projects from initial scope through completion, primarily supporting commercial land development projects . Serve as the RPLS in responsible charge of survey projects and ensure work meets applicable standards and regulations. Review and oversee ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, easement, and construction surveys. Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, exhibits, and other survey deliverables. Coordinate with engineers, developers, contractors, municipalities, and other project stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to survey staff and field crews. Assist with project scheduling, budgets, proposals, and client communication. Perform quality control and ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule. Qualifications Active Texas RPLS license required. 5+ years of professional land surveying experience preferred. Strong experience with commercial land development surveying . Knowledge of ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, easement, and construction surveying. Experience managing projects and working directly with clients and development teams. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Civil 3D and/or other relevant surveying software experience preferred.
