Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | 14-Week Assignment | Days | 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with emergency and urgent medical conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
• Ability to meet travel contract requirements for a 14-week assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department environment
• TNCC or ENPC certification
• Experience with high-acuity emergency patient populations
