Security Technician

Anistar Technologies is seeking Security Technicians for long term work in the Security Industry. Required Experience:

• 3-4 years of commercial security install experience.
• Installing and maintaining enterprise-level access control systems.
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
• Enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based).
• Networking and IT knowledge.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Superior problem solving and communication skills.
• Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
• Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
• Demonstrates fundamental knowledge and ability to effectively use hand tools required for trade work in the electronic security industry.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Job Experience/Education:

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Certifications in Access Control Systems or Closed-Circuit Systems not required.
