Warehouse Manager- Direct HireLocation: Near 103rd & HarlemSchedule: Monday- Friday some SaturdaysPay: $70,000/yearJob DescriptionSummary: The Warehouse Manager position is responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. The position involves working in a cold/frozen storage warehouse environment, supervising personnel receiving product, pulling orders, unloading trucks for inbound deliveries, and processing paperwork related to product delivery.Essential Functions:Function as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assignment to best serve the companySupervise the associate staff, including scheduling, providing training and guidance, establishing job standards, and evaluating performanceEnsure timely, accurate, and complete replenishment of inventory for all daily customer orders for the shiftEnsure all product received during the shift is stocked properly and that first-in/first-out warehouse procedures are followed for all stock rotationDemonstrate a strong service quality ethic through personal exampleEnsure that all associates have a thorough understanding of their individual roles in meetings or exceeding internal and external customer expectationsCoordinates receiving planningUtilize the Company's warehouse management system and other technologies available to maximize productivityAnalyze productivity levels of warehouse operations and recommend appropriate changes when necessaryEnsure safe operation of all material handlingOversee daily activities of a warehouse crew to ensure proper handling and storage of incoming product while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environmentPerforms other related duties as assignedCompetencies:Organizational and logistics skillsStrong attention to detailProblem solvingInterpersonal abilityTeam orientedProactive critical thinkingWork Environment: This job operates in a cold warehouse environment and may be exposed to outdoor work in hot, cold, or inclement weather.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk, lift, bend, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
