Job Description
Maintenance Technician conducts machine, building and facility maintenance service; encompassing installs, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative.
Essential Functions:
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machinery
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for Tyler facilities and buildings
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules
Actively promote and personally observe all company policies, employee handbook, safety and security procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
2 years electrical experience
Technical training
At least 5 years of maintenance experience
At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
