Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans for our diverse patient population
• Implement effective physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional performance
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and rehab professionals, to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, guide through discharge planning, and provide home exercise instructions
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards while recording evaluations, treatments, and progress
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to guarantee coordinated, comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric therapy) are appreciated but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to address complex medical challenges and mobility restrictions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
