Physician Assistant

Overview Part Time Physician Assistant needed for South OKC Neurosurgeon Physician Assistant (PA-C) will work closely with neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Nees to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring spine evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities New patient assessments, return visits, pre-operative and post-operative evaluations Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, medical management, wound assessment, patient education, and coordination of care with referring providers The PA-C will support Dr. Nees in both clinical and hospital settings Requirements Current PA license in State of Oklahoma with NCCPA Certification Valid DEA and OBNDD or ability to obtain Experience in neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, pain management, critical care or surgical specialty preferred Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to perform focused neurological exams Experience with EMR systems and surgical workflow preferred.
