Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting, assessing needs, monitoring status, and implementing care plans.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and perform necessary clinical duties within scope of practice.
- Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR; communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team during rounds, handoffs, and care conferences.
- Float between medical floor and surgical/oncology units as required, adapting to unit-specific protocols and patient populations.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhere to infection control and safety standards, and uphold BLS guidelines during all shifts.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff; provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Requirements
- Active RN license with eligibility for Montana licensure or MT practice (as applicable)
- 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to float between medical floor and surgical/oncology units
- Proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record system
