Burton Creek Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team in Tahoe City, CA. As a key member of our clinic, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families every day, all while enjoying beautiful Lake Tahoe!

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical preparation and assist during procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs
• Provide Fear Free care to reduce stress in patients
• Perform IV catheterization and venipuncture
• Collect and handle samples for diagnostics, both in-house and send out
• Record keeping and client instruction

Required Skills:

• Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in IV catheterization and phlebotomy
• Strong background in surgical nursing and genermal medicine
• Ability to perform medication administration and discharge planning

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with dental prophylaxis
• Knowledge of preventive care practices
• Previous experience in triage and urgent care

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $67,200.00

Maximum Salary: $86,400.00

Benefits: Health Insurance, 401(k)
