Under direct supervision, the Truck Driver performs local transportation duties including driving passenger vans, semi-trailer trucks, and light industrial vehicles, loading and unloading materials, and performing routine operational checks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliSafely move empty and loaded trailers between docks, parking spots, and staging areas using a yard truck/hostler/liliLoad and unload trucks as required using material handling equipment available/liliPerform minor maintenance operations on vehicle to insure proper operation/liliPerform daily pre-trip truck inspections to check all fluid levels, battery level, tire pressure, lights, and signals and maintain the appearance of the vehicle/liliUpdate yard management systems, log moves, or scan trailer numbers for tracking/liliPerform other tasks as needed/liliFollow all site safety rules specific to their position, as seen in the associate handbook, cardinal rule cards, job specific standard work and any EHS training documents/liliReport all chemical spills and other environmental concerns to their supervisor, security, or EHS immediately/li/ulh3Minimum Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma/GED/liliValid and current Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A)/liliValid and current Department of Transportation (DOT) card./liliMust be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulli1+ year of CDL-A driving experience./liliClean Motor Vehicle Record with a strong history of safe driving./liliAbility to obtain a Clamp Truck License./liliAbility to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision./liliAbility to make real-time, safety-conscious decisions while operating vehicles./liliAbility to safely perform trailer drops and manual loading/unloading tasks./liliExperience using material handling equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks./liliStrong knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspection procedures, and transportation safety practices./liliDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage delivery schedules, and maintain accurate delivery or inspection records./li/ulh3Benefits/h3pEmployees are eligible for benefits, including:/pulliHealth Care benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; wellness incentives/liliRetirement benefits/liliTime Off and Leave: Paid vacation days, up to 15 days; paid sick days, up to 5 days; paid personal leave, up to 5 days; paid holidays, up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave; parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty; military leave; purchased vacation/liliDisability: Short-term and long-term disability/liliLife Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment/liliTax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account; Healthcare Spending Account; Dependent Care Spending Account/liliTuition Assistance/li/ulpThe hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $30.00 per hour.
