Opportunity for cross training within the department Day to Day Accounting Functions Payroll Processing Opportunity for cross training within the department MyStaff is partnering with a local Lincoln client to hire a Part-Time Staff Accountant . This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible schedule while taking ownership of the company's day-to-day accounting functions. Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries Process monthly general ledger activity and month-end accounting Prepare monthly financial statements Process biweekly payroll for approximately 50 employees Administer employee benefits Serve as backup for accounts payable as needed Assist with additional accounting responsibilities as the role grows What We're Looking For: Previous accounting experience with general ledger, journal entries, and financial statement preparation Payroll experience preferred Detail-oriented and able to work independently Comfortable learning legacy accounting software Schedule & Compensation: 20-30 hours per week, with opportunity for additional responsibilities over time Daily in-office position in Lincoln (occasional work-from-home flexibility for illness or weather) $25-$30/hour , depending on experience This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional seeking a flexible, long-term role with a stable local organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr MyStaff
