Assistant Director of Resident Services (LPN)

We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Resident Serviceswho will embody the passion and commitment required to deliver the ultimate care for our residents. About this role: $10,000 Sign on Bonus You will be scheduled to work Sunday - Thursday, 8:30a.m. - 5:00p.m., along with on-call responsibilities. Requirements include: Current valid New York State License Minimum 2 years LPN experience, preferably with the geriatric population Minimum of one-year supervisory experience with the geriatric population Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervision of LPN Supervisors, Medication Aides and Resident Care Coordinators. Responsible for keeping the Wellness Director informed regarding residents and staff. Liaison between resident’s medical concerns and reporting concerns to family. Oversee medication issues with the Medication Aides weekly and is responsible to report all issues to the Director of Resident Services and Primary Care Provider. Work independently and delegate assignments to the Wellness Staff. Act as back-up to review Medical Evaluations (3122) prior to admission with the LPN Supervisor to ensure all orders are reconciled in PointClickCare. Perform LPN Supervisor functions as needed. Maintain organization in the Wellness Office, Wellness Cabinets, Nursing Station, Chart Room, Exam Rooms and Waiting Area in a professional manner. Responsible for assisting the LPNs during MD clinic visits, (i.e. - Managing the residents and time allotted for their appointments). Assist in ongoing training staff. Ability to physically assist a resident in need. May require lifting and bending. On-call responsibilities Other related duties as directed.
